Hi friends, it’s Alex here! Last Friday was an amazing day because I got to visit the Limitless: The Disabled World art exhibition in Calgary, and I really want to share it with you! This exhibit is happening at the Scape Marda Loop building until November 18, so there’s still time to check it out. If you get a chance to go, I think you’ll love it as much as I did!

The best part was meeting Lionel Migrino—he’s an amazing photographer who tells stories of people with disabilities through his pictures. It was so cool to meet him in person! Lionel’s work isn’t just about photos; it’s about showing who people really are and all the awesome things we can do. His photos made me feel proud of being part of the disability community and showed just how much we all have to offer.

The whole exhibit really moved me. Lionel’s photos don’t just show faces—they show emotions, struggles, dreams, and all the little details that make each of us unique. Seeing his work reminded me that having a disability doesn’t limit us. Instead, it’s part of what makes us powerful and resilient.

I totally recommend checking it out before November 18! Whether you have a disability or not, Lionel’s work is a reminder that there are no limits to what we can do. I left feeling proud, inspired, and just excited about what’s possible.

If you go see the exhibit, let me know what you think on my Instagram post —I’d love to hear about it!
