I kicked off the new year in the best way possible—by going to the Calgary Wranglers game on January 1st! It was such an exciting game, and the Wranglers played so well, beating the Canucks 4-2. The energy in the arena was amazing, and I had so much fun cheering for the team.
One of the coolest parts of the game was meeting Blasty, the team’s mascot. Blasty was super friendly, and it made the whole experience even better. Being there, surrounded by all the excitement and action, made me think about all the great memories I have from playing volt hockey and power chair hockey. Both of those sports have given me so many fun moments and helped me fall in love with hockey even more.
I’d love to go to another hockey game in the future—it was such a great experience! Watching the fast-paced action on the ice and cheering on the @AHLWranglers made for a really awesome day.
Go Team Go! 🏒
