Hi everyone, it’s Alex!
I had such an exciting day at the Neuromotor Resource Expo in Calgary, and I wanted to tell you all about it.
The event was for people living with cerebral palsy and other neuromotor conditions. There were lots of families, kids, helpers, and cool technology. It felt amazing to be in a room full of people who understand what life is like for me.
The best part of the day was using my Trexo robotic walker.
I walked over 3,500 steps!
That is a huge number for me, and I was so proud. Walking in the Trexo makes me feel strong, confident, and happy.
CTV News was there, and they interviewed me. I talked about how the Trexo has taken away my knee pain and how it helps me stay active. Because of it, I can ride my bike, go rock climbing, and move my body in ways I couldn’t before. When I stand and walk in the Trexo, people see me differently, and it makes me feel good about myself.
There were also robots, brain-computer games, and lots of friendly people from different groups who help families like mine. It really showed how much things have changed and how much support there is today.
I left the expo tired but super happy.

Thanks for cheering me on!
