I recently got the chance to meet with the Mayor of Calgary, Jyoti Gondek. It was really exciting to chat with her, and I even put my hand up to ask a question in front of a big group of people.
My question was: “How are you planning on making Calgary more accessible for people in wheelchairs?”
Accessibility is very important to me, and I wanted to hear what plans the Mayor has for our city. I hope she gets re-elected so that she can implement all her plans to make Calgary more inclusive and accessible.
I’m glad I had the opportunity to meet Jyoti. And I think it’s fun that her campaign colour is my favourite colour – PINK!
