I had an amazing day at the Alberta Children’s Hospital’s gait lab yesterday! They use marker-based motion capture to help kids like me with cerebral palsy get a better handle on walking.
They stuck these little markers all over me, and as I moved with my manual walker, my motions came to life on a computer. It was like watching a digital version of myself take on the world, one step at a time.
And guess what? I’m feeling stronger in my manual walker, all thanks to the time I’ve spent with the Trexo robotic walker. I felt like a superhero on my own fitness journey.
