I went to Toronto last night for the Trexo Robotic Walking Event, celebrating 100 million steps! It was so much fun, and I feel so lucky to have been invited by Trexo Robotics to this special event at the Mars Waterfront. Thank you, Trexo, for letting me be part of such an amazing milestone!
What do 100 Million Steps Mean to You?
For me, 100 million steps mean something really big. They mean freedom, better health, and feeling confident. Walking in the Trexo has changed my life in ways I never thought were possible. Every step matters—and for kids like me, those steps can make a huge difference.
How Did It All Start?
My journey with the Trexo began when I was asked to join a study at the Children’s Hospital. Back then, I was using a regular walker and could only take about 30 steps at a time. It was really hard. Then I got to try the Trexo, and everything changed. The Trexo is a robotic walking device that helps me walk in a way I didn’t know I could.
From 30 Steps to 100,000 Steps
During the study, I walked over 100,000 steps! Can you believe it? I even broke three first-generation Trexo machines because I was walking so much—oops! Walking became fun for me, and I didn’t want to stop.
What Changed for Me?
A lot has changed since I started walking with the Trexo. My chronic knee pain is gone, and I don’t get vertigo or headaches anymore. At first, I thought it was just because I was moving more, but it’s also because the Trexo keeps me in the right alignment while I walk. That makes a huge difference.
Where Am I Now?
Now, I can walk up to 4,000 steps at a time in the Trexo! That’s a big jump from 30 steps. It’s not just about walking more—I feel more confident, too.
Using the Trexo has made me so curious about how the human body moves. It inspired me to study kinesiology at university. I’m in a 4-year program now, learning all about movement and how it can change lives.
Want to Follow My Journey?
If you want to see more of my journey, you can find me on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube,. I’ve also made business cards to share my story and let more people know about the Trexo.
Every Step Matters
100 million steps is more than just a big number. It’s about hope, health, and what’s possible. For kids like me, every single step matters. That’s why I love walking in the Trexo so much.
Thank you for being part of my journey and for cheering me on. Here’s to taking even more steps together!
